Cookie Policy

Last updated

This Cookie Policy explains how Tuun (operated by Radiant Technologies L.L.C-FZ) uses cookies and similar technologies on usetuun.com, in our app, and in emails. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies — pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, software development kits (SDKs), and mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., Apple IDFA, Google AAID). For brevity we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this Policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site and app to function — keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie preferences, securing the session, and routing requests. You can’t turn these off without breaking core functionality.

Functional

These remember your preferences (language, region, accessibility settings) so the experience is consistent across visits.

Analytics

These help us understand how the site and app are used — which pages are visited, what flows convert, where errors occur — so we can improve the Service. Analytics data is aggregated; we don’t use it to identify you personally outside our internal systems.

Marketing

These are used by us and our advertising partners to measure the performance of our ads and to show you relevant Tuun content on other sites and apps. The most common is the Meta Pixel and Conversions API used to attribute paid traffic from Facebook and Instagram. We may also work with Google Ads measurement, TikTok Pixel, and similar partners as our marketing mix evolves.

3. Specific cookies and partners

The exact set of cookies on a given page can vary by region and consent. Common ones include:

ProviderPurposeCategory
Tuun (first-party)Authentication, security, preferencesStrictly necessary / Functional
StripePayment processing, fraud preventionStrictly necessary
CloudflarePerformance, security, anti-botStrictly necessary
Meta (Facebook / Instagram Pixel & CAPI)Ad measurement, audience matchingMarketing
Google Analytics / Google Tag ManagerSite and app analyticsAnalytics
Google AdsAd measurement, remarketingMarketing

We update this list as our stack changes. The cookie consent banner (where applicable) lists the live set at the moment of your visit.

4. How to control cookies

Consent banner. On regions that require it (EEA, UK, and certain US states), you’ll see a cookie banner on your first visit. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or pick categories. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Help pages: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.

Mobile controls. Limit ad tracking via your device’s system settings — Apple’s App Tracking Transparency on iOS, and the Ad ID controls on Android.

Industry opt-outs. Adjust interest-based advertising preferences via the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by law as a request to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core parts of the Service from working. Blocking other categories may make the experience less personalized but won’t break it.

5. Do Not Track

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not yet standardized; we currently do not respond to them. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described above.

6. Changes

We may update this Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

7. Contact

Cookie questions can be sent to hello@usetuun.com.
